Photography, and in particular portraiture, possesses a remarkable ability to celebrate and capture one's authentic beauty. It is for this reason that I am so excited to launch the "As I am" photo campaign for women.
As a professional portrait photographer, I have witnessed the immense power that a single photograph can hold. It has the ability to capture the raw beauty, strength, and vulnerability of an individual. Unfortunately, in today's society, women are bombarded with unrealistic beauty standards, causing them to feel self-conscious and inadequate. It is for this reason that I am thrilled to announce the launch of this photo campaign for women.
This campaign aims to celebrate and honour the unique qualities and natural beauty that every woman possesses. Through this project, I hope to empower women to embrace their so-called ‘imperfections’ and showcase their true selves without any filters or alterations. It is time for women to feel proud of who they are, just as they are, and I will be honoured if I get to be a part of one woman’s journey towards self-acceptance.
How to participate:
Book an “As I am” photo shoot at the Vancouver studio.
Style yourself- do your own hair and makeup and wear a favourite outfit.
Receive a guided 2-hour black and white photo shoot with Laura.
Pick your favourite portrait from the session and receive both a digital copy AND a 4x6 print on the finest museum-quality paper available.
Your portrait and story will be featured on social media to inspire other women to understand that they are already beautiful just as they are.
