The value of good customer service
The art of good customer service seems to be a rare thing these days. I personally don’t understand it. As a business owner I’ve always prided myself on giving the highest level of customer service to my clients. Because my customer service matches the quality of product I offer, as a result, I’m lucky enough to get lots of referrals from past clients and I have a long list of positive reviews online. It’s simply good business practice to offer amazing customer service.
And yet good customer service is hard to find.
This is why I was particularly impressed when I encountered an Etsy shop recently that has incredible customer service. Several months ago, I ordered a Tiffany blue statement necklace off of Etsy that had gotten lost in the mail. I got in touch with the seller (her store name on Etsy is IndianJewelleryFinds if you want to show her some love) who was wonderful about following up with the post office, and refunding me my money when it was discovered the post office had a mistake with the delivery address.
Between the fact that there was an incorrect address on the package and the fact that it was coming from England, I had given up all hope of ever receiving this necklace until, miraculously, it just appeared in my mailbox this last Friday. I got in touch with the seller immediately to let her know it had arrived and that I wanted to pay for this beautiful piece.
I pride myself on giving the very best customer service to my clients and it was so lovely to discover another business owner who does the same. Thank you Rebecca/IndianJewelleryFinds!
